CYW 162 Blue Rocks
About fifty millions years ago volcanoes in Yellowstone started to erupt. This left its mark with the darker vertical cliffs that stretch up from the river. After 10 million years the eruptions stopped and wind water and ice eroded the rocks for millions of years leaving the thin line of blue visible in this shot.
