CYW 204 Wildlife Jam
The following day was our last full day in Yellowstone and we’d be doing the entire bottom part of the figure-eight (including re-driving the 6 o’clock to the 9 o’clock part of the bottom circle we’d covered the first day). We were the first people into the Old Towe Café for breakfast and then headed out to explore the right side of the bottom loop of the Grand Loop Road (clockwise from 9 o’clock to 6 o’clock positions). On our way into the western end of the park (a road we’d come to know VERY well by then) we got stuck in a wildlife jam as everyone stopped to view the elk right along the road. Ken actually went around the jam and then turned around to get these next few shots.
