CYW 145 Firehole Falls

ONE LAST DETOUR!  After getting back on the main road, we hung another left on to Firehole Canyon Drive.  There actually is a swimming hole here with temperatures said to be about the same as for an unheated swimming pool in the area.  (We didn’t test it.)  There also is this small falls on the Firehole River.  After leaving here it was a 20 or so minute drive to our hotel, the Holiday Inn in West Yellowstone Montana.  Dinner was at the Timberline Café, a surprisingly good family restaurant just down the street from the hotel.  Menu selections were somewhat limited however due to it being the last night they were open.
