CYW 079 Cabins at Flagg Ranch - V
Daylight was fading, and hunger was growing, so we then set off on what proved to be the biggest adventure of the day – finding our hotel! All we had was a PO Box number in Moran, a number for a phone that didn’t get answered, and a note Ken had scribbled on the travel plan about “2 miles south” – but not south of what! Eventually Virginia noticed in the reservation email where it said 2 miles south of Yellowstone (presumably meaning the southern Yellowstone park entrance). As we were headed there Virginia FINALLY noticed the CHECK ENGINE light was on. As we were discussing what it said in the Owner’s Manual about it, Ken almost missed the turn off to the cabins.
